The Gay and Lesbian Fund for Dallas recently presented a check for $90,000 to the Parkland Foundation representing proceeds from GLFD’s fourth fundraiser held at the Old Red Courthouse last spring. The proceeds will be used for two programs within the Parkland Health & Hospital System, with $50,000 pledged to the fundraising effort for the Ambulatory Surgery Center that opened Jan. 8, 2007, and the rest designated for the palliative care program at Parkland Hospital.
