Gerber picks up Women in Business Award

It’s been a busy week for Pam Gerber.

Gerber, a member of Dallas City Councilwoman Delia Jasso’s LGBT Task Force, was instrumental in putting together the city of Dallas’ LGBT Pride Month events, which began with a reception at City Hall on Wednesday. Gerber also wrote a column about the importance of the events for the Viewpoints page of Dallas Voice.

Then, on Thursday night, Gerber received a Women in Business Award from The Dallas Business Journal. Gerber, who serves as president of Entrepreneurs for North Texas, tells me she’s the only out lesbian on the list of DBJ award winners.
