Dallas is next stop on nationwide tour for event

About 100 travel exhibitors and destinations from around the world have registered to participate in the Gay and Lesbian World Travel Expo being held Wednesday at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas.

David Paisley, expo manager, said the event is designed to give participants a chance to “meet the people behind the gay travel boom of the last decade.”

All the key destinations will be represented, from resort towns like Key West and Provincetown, to big cities like San Francisco and Fort Lauderdale, to gay-friendly countries like Canada, Spain and Switzerland.

Dallas is just one stop on a nationwide tour for the expo, and Paisley said exhibitors are “particularly excited about meeting the Dallas community, many for the first time.”
