Agenda2
Dallas activists Max Ellis, left, and Michael Robinson, second from left,  last weekend delivered a donation of canned goods collected in Dallas to the Tyler Area Gays organization in Tyler to help with the East Texas group’s annual Holiday Canned Food Drive. Robinson explained that the donation was coordinated by a small group of Dallas activists — including James Sterling, Carla Giles and Jennifer Allen — “who got together in my living room” and decided to gather donations to help TAG with their food drive. Lee Daugherty, owner of Alexandre’s bar on Cedar Springs, let the group put a box in his bar to help gather donations, Robinson said. TAG members pictured are Freddie Layton, Chairman John Bridges, Jay Hilburn, Treasurer Joey Gonzales and Secretary Tonda Curry. Food items collected with be donated to P.A.T.H. (People Attempting to Help).
