Robinson explained that the donation was coordinated by a small group of Dallas activists — including James Sterling, Carla Giles and Jennifer Allen — “who got together in my living room” and decided to gather donations to help TAG with their food drive. Lee Daugherty, owner of Alexandre’s bar on Cedar Springs, let the group put a box in his bar to help gather donations, Robinson said.
