Resource Center Dallas in July added two members to its 14-member board of directors and re-elected three board members.

The new board members are Michael Furlow and Gregory Pynes.

Furlow is senior vice president of information solutions for Brinker International, and has enterprise-wide responsibility for the Dallas-based restaurant company’s information and technology strategies. He has more than 29 years of IT experience, primarily in the retail and restaurant industries.

Pynes is senior director of meetings for Physician’s Education Resources, which provides continuing medical education programs for oncologists around the world. Previously, he was a director of sales for Renaissance Meetings and Incentives, and worked for the town of Addison as director of visitor services where he was instrumental in establishing the city’s Kaboom Town and Taste Addison events.

Board President Reid Ainsworth said Furlow and Pynes’ election "strengthens and broadens" the RCD board. The board also re-elected three members: Nakita Johnson, Rosemarie Odom and Mark Stori. Ainsworth was re-elected board president; Kevin Witcher was re-elected board vice president, and Steve Rayl was re-elected treasurer. Odom was chosen to be the new board secretary. Board members for Resource Center Dallas are elected to two-year terms and may be elected to a maximum of four consecutive terms or eight consecutive years.
