Organizers for the protest at the Tarrant County Courthouse have asked that those participating not bring signs specifically attacking the Fort Worth Police with crude or vulgar language. ex: “no signs saying screw you pigs”.реклама на личном авто
i forgot to ask, if you all think of something we non-texans can do to help, like, calling the cops or sending emails to the board that oversees the cops, let us know. i’d like to think non-texan gays would heed a call to action over the web or the phone lines.
it’s totally outrageous to see such a raid happen at any time, never mind pride weekend.

I’ve posted it on my Twitter (California here) and my girlfriend Leathermenace has posted the whole thing (with a link to this article) so everyone knows what’s being done to innocent GLBT citizens in Fort Worth, Texas.
We support the GLBT citizens’ right to attend local venues for an evening of enjoyment without fear of being rousted by the the local police because of some lame excuse that is not used on heterosexual bars to arrest the patrons inside. There are laws to protect GLBT citizens from harassment of this sort. Time to get the ACLU involved maybe?
