Gordy Carmona with Equality Texas has issued an “action alert” for LGBTQ North Texans and their allies to attend the Keller Independent School District Board of Trustees meeting tonight (Thursday, Aug. 22) to protest plans by KISD officials to enact 13 new policies discriminating against LGBTQIA students.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the Keller ISD Education Center, 350 Keller Parkway. Find board meeting agendas here.
Carmona encourages supporters to attend the board meeting, sign up and give public testimony urging board members to vote no on the discriminatory policies and to send an email with this link registering your opposition to the new policies.
