Here’s a list of early voting locations in Dallas County. If you live in the city of Dallas, get out and vote for mayor, even if your city council member is running unopposed. The choices for mayor are Mike Rawlings, Marcos Ronquillo and, as a write-in, Richard Sheridan.
OK, now here’s the confusing part. If you live in the city of Dallas, but your portion of the city is in Collin or Kaufman or Rockwall County, you can early vote for city of Dallas elections anywhere in Dallas County, not in your home county. Same thing for Fort Worth and parts that lie in Denton or Johnson counties — vote anywhere in Tarrant County.
This early voting quirk only applies to May municipal elections. For November elections, early vote anywhere in your county of residence.
