‘Transformers’ beauty tells Esquire that she has a ‘lesbians only’ policy
Arguably hotter than Angelina Jolie, Megan Fox recently talked about her die-hard sexual appetite for other chicks.
Fox told Esquire magazine, "I have no question in my mind about being bisexual … I mean, I could see myself in a relationship with a girl — Olivia Wilde is so sexy she makes me want to strangle a mountain ox with my bare hands."
The former FHM "sexiest woman on the planet" is still into dudes, but when it comes to women, she says she’s strictly into lesbians.
"I’m also a hypocrite: I would never date a girl who was bisexual, because that means they also sleep with men, and men are so dirty that I’d never want to sleep with a girl who had slept with a man," Fox told Esquire.
The actress just broke up with her fiancé — "Beverly Hills 90210" actor Brian Austin Green. Fox told Elle magazine, ""I had to convince him that I was slightly more responsible and well-spoken and had other things to bring to the table besides being 18."
Fox is set to star in the second "Transformers" film, "Revenge of the Fallen," which comes out this summer.
Sykes cracks on Limbaugh and announces that her wife just had twins
During last Sunday’s White House Correspondents Association dinner, lesbian comedian Wanda Sykes quipped that Rush Limbaugh was likely the 20th hijacker on 9/11 — only he was so strung out on Oxycontin he missed the plane.
Two days later, the White House publicly distanced itself from the remarks. "There are a lot of topics that are better left for serious reflection rather than comedy," said spokesman Robert Gibbs. "I don’t think there is any doubt that 9/11 is one of them."
Many LGBT Americans are wondering why the Obama administration felt the need to comment on Sykes’ Limbaugh joke since we’re all holding our breath, waiting for him to defend gays who want to serve openly in the military …. .
But there’s too much good news about Skyes. This week, the couple anncoucned that Sykes’ wife, Alex, gave birth to fraternal twins on April 27: a son, Lucas Claude, and a daughter, Olivia Lou. The twins are the first children for the couple, who wed in October.
TABC suspends Crews Inn’s liquor license
Crews Inn has apparently closed because the Fitzhugh Avenue gay bar’s mixed-beverage permit was recently suspended by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission. TABC spokeswoman Carolyn Beck confirmed that Crews Inn’s permit has been suspended because the bar failed to pay and/or report gross receipts sales tax.
"They could still be open, but they can’t sell alcoholic beverages," Beck said.
Beck said businesses with mixed-beverage permits must pay a 14 percent tax on all mixed-beverage sales to the Texas Comptroller’s Office. Crews Inn initially was cited for failing to pay and/or report on April 23. Beck said it was unclear how much in back taxes the bar owes.
In a separate matter, Beck said Crews Inn also appears on TABC’s "Credit Law Delinquent List," because the bar owes $3,507.52 to wholesaler Buckeye Liquor. The delinquent status means no wholesaler can sell liquor to Crews Inn until the amount is paid and the bar is removed from the list, Beck said.
Crews Inn co-owner David Moore didn’t return a phone call seeking comment. The bar, which has been fixture in the community for decades, reportedly closed its doors at midnight Wednesday.
Crews Inn was the target of protests in 2008 after the bar reportedly banned drag queens on Tuesday nights.
Gay porn, victim of print downturn
Mavety Media Group pulled the plug on its lengthy stable of gay porn magazines, including "Mandate," "Torso," "Honcho," "Inches" and "Playguy." According to BoyCulture.com, Mavety’s flagship straight title "Juggs" will apparently continue.
New ABC sitcom will feature gay family
ABC has given an early series pickup to "Modern Family," the new sitcom from Steve Levitan and Chris Lloyd.
"Modern Family" — formerly known as "My American Family" — scored a great response at ABC’s pilot screenings, insiders said, giving the net reason to go ahead now and pick up 13 episodes for fall.
The show follows the lives of three American families, as seen through the eyes of a filmmaker. One home centers on a traditional nuclear family, another is a gay couple with a newly adopted Vietnamese child; and the third consists of an older man who has just married a younger Latina wife.
