Gay "Guide to Style" host Tim Gunn had better get in line. He wants to hook up with CNN’s silver fox Anderson Cooper.
According to OK! magazine, Gunn said that he’s designing a dream date with the elusive "AC360" newsman.
"We’ve actually been trying to have lunch for a year and a half," Gunn, 55, told OK! at the recent Addressing Psoriasis launch in Manhattan. "Both of us are so busy that we haven’t been successful doing it, but we exchange e-mails."

Paglia defends Limbaugh
In a new Salon.com column, lesbian high priestess of culture Camille Paglia sings Rush Limbaugh’s praises.
Paglia — dissident liberal and professor of humanities at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia — has been keeping track of flubs in Obama’s first seven weeks.
In January, Obama told a group of Washington Republicans, "You can’t just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done."
Limbaugh responded, saying,"We are being told we have to hope he succeeds, that we have to bend over and grab our ankles… because his father was black, because he’s the first black president."
In her March 11 "Heads should roll" column, Paglia says the president has been ill-advised by White House goons, who orchestrated the attack on conservative radio host, Rush Limbaugh.
"This entire fracas was set off by the president himself, who lowered his office by targeting a private citizen by name. Limbaugh had every right to counterattack, which he did with gusto," Paglia writes.
"If Rush’s presence looms too large for the political landscape, it’s because of the total vacuity of the Republican leadership, which seems to be in a dithering funk," Paglia continues.
"Rush Limbaugh is an embodiment of the American dream: He slowly rose from obscurity to fame on the basis of his own talent and grit. Every penny Rush has earned was the result of his rapport with a vast audience who felt shut out and silenced by the liberal monopoly of major media. As a Democrat and Obama supporter, I certainly do not agree with everything Rush says or does. I was deeply upset, for example, by the sneering tone both Rush and Sean Hannity took on Inauguration Day, when partisan politics should have been set aside for a unifying celebration of American government and history. Nevertheless, I respect Rush for his independence of thought and his always provocative news analysis. He doesn’t run with the elite — he goes his own way."
Clay awards Tyra at 20th GLAAD
The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation says Clay Aiken will present the Excellence in Media Award to Tyra Banks on March 28 at the 20th annual GLAAD Media Awards in New York.
Banks has shown a strong commitment to educating the public about the lives of gay and transgender people — specifically including Isis King, the first trans contestant on "America’s Next Top Model." Past Excellence in Media recipients include Billy Crystal, Julianne Moore, Diane Sawyer, Glenn Close, Patti LaBelle, Vanessa Redgrave and Phil Donahue.
Also, T.R. Knight will present the Vito Russo Award to Suze Orman.
‘Heathers’ to become a musical
Christian Slater’s cult movie Heathers is heading to the stage.
The dark comedy — which helped Slater and his co-star Winona Ryder make their names in Hollywood in 1988 — is being turned into a musical, says the Hollywood Reporter.
Director Andy Fickman is developing the production and he’s working with writer and composer Kevin Murphy and composer Larry O’Keefe.
"Heathers: The Musical" is expected to be ready in 2010 and the creative team are hoping for a run on Broadway.
The original movie followed Veronica (Winona) who is desperate to be accepted by a popular clique of girls at her school, even though she secretly hates them. Things go awry when she meets rebel JD (Christian), and she soon finds herself helping him to murder some of the school’s most popular students.
Neil Patrick Harris hands out TV Land awards
If the "Harold and Kumar" movies, "How I Met Your Mother", "Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog," his "SNL" appearance and his spoonbending antics on "Ellen" weren’t enough to convince you that Neil Patrick Harris is a national treasure, try this: Now he’s retro-nostalgia-cable-channel TV Land’s answer to Hugh Jackman.
The funny, quick-witted song-and-dance man will host April’s TV Land Awards with the requisite amount of skits, musical numbers and awards given out to shows like "Charles In Charge" and "Mama’s Family."
Expect a lot of vintage TV personalities showing up to join Harris as he tosses out non-vintage one-liners.
