Lisa Thomas, one of the members of the new City Manager’s Diversity Task Force, sent me a quick note just now to say that the Task Force held its first meeting yesterday. She said she’ll have more information for me on Monday, but for now, she says:
“The meeting was very well attended with subcommitees formed to address some of the various issues. And all attendees, including myself, have high hopes for all that the group can accomplish.”
