At Dish last night, a huge crowd gathered to hear the names on DIFFA/Dallas’ Style Council roster. Members of the Style Council are  responsible for getting out the word about DIFFA and fundraising for the signature event, the Collection, which this year is called Smoking Haute. It will take place at the Anatole on March 31.

  1. Amy V. is an interesting pick given that her husband is running for congress on a pro-DOMA, “marriage is between one man and one woman” platform. Won’t she be uncomfortable in this crowd?

  2. Amy Vanderoef- host of Good Morning Texas?  See her on her husband’s, Grant Stinchfield political site GRANTSTINCHFIELD.COM tell us how in his faith and family issues page he believes marriage is between one man and one woman and stepping up DOMA. How pro life he is and how the Heritage Foundation is how we should live in America.

Yet SHE is on the council of DIFFA?  Interesting choice.  I guess she likes our parties but doesn’t believe gays should have rights equal to her perfectly normal family.  She is on a council to help our community educate ourselves about AIDS?  Won’t that conflict with all the time she campaigns with her anti-gay husband to deny gay people equality?  Maybe DIFFA doesn’t care, but I do.
