Michael W. Kelly, 43, of Dallas and formerly of Glen Park and Watertown, N.Y., passed away suddenly Sunday, June 24, 2012, at Baylor Medical Center in Plano with his family at his side.
Kelly resided in Dallas for the last 13 years, working in the Baylor Hospital emergency room and at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Kelly’s favorite pastime was going camping at Rainbow Ranch with his friends.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Kelly and her companion James Place of Pillar Point, N.Y.; his brother, Patrick Kelly and his wife and their three children, Maya, Foster and Tucker, of Harrisville, N.Y.; two stepbrothers, Andrew Place and his wife Angela and their two children, Skylar and Gavin, of Rochester, N.Y., and Matthew Place and his wife Becki of Rochester; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kelly is preceded in death by his father, Richard Kelly. He will be deeply missed by his family and by all of his Texas familiy.
Kelly’s life will be celebrated at the family home at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 7, in Pillar Point, N.Y.
A celebration of Kelly’s life will be held in Dallas at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 15.

Bobbie Catherine Aldridge, 71, died on June 29, 2012, at her home in Gun Barrel City.
Over the last several years, Aldridge struggled with recurring bouts of cancer and, as all who knew her would attest, fought one tough fight while never losing her boundless love of life.
Born in 1941 to Cecil and Irene Collins of Clyde, Texas, Aldridge was the youngest of five much-loved siblings: Robert Collins (d.1989), Cecile Petty, Alice Ann Crawford (d.1978) and Della Lee.
Throughout the ’50s, the Collins children dominated West Texas basketball and tennis, and Bobbie was no exception, rising to state level competition in both. She carried this love of sports with her to East Texas State and then to a career as a teacher, coach and mentor to many in the Abilene, Cleburne and Lewisville schools.
Golf was her final passion for which she participated in many tournaments, winning many and helping to organize various ones benefiting worthy causes in the Dallas and Gun Barrel City areas.
Aldridge was greatly loved and cherished by her children, Darla Laughter of Boerne, Texas; Bill Aldridge of Denver; and Nanette Aldridge (d.1984), as well as grandchildren and friends who thank God for Aldridge and her values: love and acceptance of everyone and an ability to enjoy life to the fullest.
Friends can join the family for a graveside service at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 6, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Cleburne, and for a memorial lakeside service from 5 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, at Sundrift in Gun Barrel City.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Bobbie Aldridge Memorial Fund, which we will distribute to her favorite charities including Hospice and SPCA.
