Bridgette L. Wyman, 42, died peacefully Sept. 6 at home in Arlington following a lengthy battle with cancer.
Wyman, also known by her pen name A.C. Henley, was surrounded by many fans of her fiction. She was a friend to all who knew her at the Paris Bakery in Paris, Texas, and she loved her work as a pastry chef.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosemary, and infant brother, Michael.
She is survived by her longtime companion, Sherry Barker, her father, Tom Wyman; her siblings, Thomas and Ingrid Wyman of Ankeny, Iowa, Shannon Wyman of Marshalltown, Iowa, Kelly (Wyman) and Lowell Emerick of Arlington, Daniel Wyman of Marshalltown, Iowa, Kevin and Debra Wyman of San Diego, Calif., and Traci (Wyman) and Josh Hensley of Rhome, Texas; and by nine nieces and nephews.
Wyman requested that no funeral services be held. There will be celebrations in her honor at a later date. Her cremains will be scattered later this year.

J. Carl McClure, 34, died suddenly on Sept. 2 after a brief but intense illness.
Raised in Garland, he attended North Garland High School. He received an associates of general studies degree from Richland College in 2002, where he enjoyed courses in the humanities, philosophy and government. After his graduation from Richland, he took biotechnology, veterinary technology and accounting courses. Most recently, he studied audio engineering at Collin College in Plano, and he planned to complete that certification program and pursue a career as a music marketing consultant or a club DJ/music manager.
McClure’s love of music extended to the choir. In the mid 1990s, he sang in the Richland College choir and enjoyed a choir trip to Florida, He also served as a mid-1990s camp counselor to a group of kids with special needs at Camp Cullen, where he had also been a camper as a teen.
He participated in events related to organ donation awareness and to being a kidney transplant recipient with his family and friends. He also volunteered at the main information desk at Children’s Medical Center in the 1990s. He participated in musical theater, and he was involved in a production of "Oklahoma" in the early 1990s in Garland.
For more than 15 years, he enjoyed good times in Oak Lawn, and he was an active member of Cathedral of Hope and its sanctuary choir from 2000 to 2004. Although he was primarily a student, homemaker and volunteer caregiver to his many dogs and his elderly grandparents, he worked part time at Ticketmaster, Papa Johns, Blimpie and Kelly Services, when his health allowed him to work a paid job.
In 1999, he spent several months living in the San Jose area of California, where he worked at a pizza place. He loved to travel and took many memorable trips with family and friends.
He also loved nature, especially water, trees and mountains.
He devoured all types of movies and live concerts, especially those of Bette Midler, Madonna, Santana and the Black-Eyed Peas.
