Sheila Kaye Hightower Dolezal died Oct. 10, surrounded by her family and friends, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Her life’s work was helping others, and she spent more than 20 years as human resources manager at AIDS Services of Dallas. She worked tirelessly in all the fundraisers for ASD, the Dallas Margarita Society and many other humanitarian efforts.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Donald C. Dolezal; her daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and Max Susini, and their children Laila and Maxou; her son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Joy Dolezal; her son, Paul Evans, and grandchildren Ashton and Gage; her sister, Marsa Hightower and Greg Bounds; and her family at ASD.
A celebration of her life was held Oct. 13 at Sparkman-Hillcrest Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to AIDS Services of Dallas, P.O. Box 4338, Dallas, Texas 75208-0338. •
