Michael Gerry Lyon died May 18, 2009.
He was born on Dec, 15, 1964, and worked in landscaping and plant design for more than 15 years. He was loved by many friends in the Dallas area.
Lyon is survived by his partner of 15 years, Bill Sturgill; his mother, Ingrid Crowley; his father, James Lyon; and his sisters, Shannon and Loretta.
Friends will gather at Zippers, 3333 N. Fitzhugh Ave., from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, for a celebration of life in memory of Lyon.
