Roger Louis Frey, born Dec. 13, 1962, died peacefully in his Galveston home on Feb. 15.
Frey was a longtime player with the Dallas gay softball league. He was also an active member of the Big Brothers Association.
Frey is survived by his partner of 22 years, Jon Johansen, and his beloved dog, Buddy Lee.
Friends are invited to attend a celebration of his life on March 14 at 2 p.m. at 4923 Stanford Ave. in Dallas. Johansen asks that, in lieu of flowers, everyone who knew Frey always remember to say "I love you" to one another.

A memorial and celebration of the life of Anthony Thomas Dale James will be held Friday, March 6, at 8 p.m. at Illusions, 4100 Maple Ave.
James died of an accidental overdose of pain medication on Feb. 13.
Funds raised at the memorial event will be used to pay for his hospital bill and cremation charges. Any addition funds will go to his partner and mother to help pay other costs associated with his death.

| Brantley |
Christopher Allan Brantley, 39, died Jan. 3 at Parkland Memorial Hospitals of complications from a stroke.
A native of Flint, Mich., Brantley had lived in the Dallas area for the past six years. He graduated from Flint High School and served six years in the U.S. Army, including in Desert Storm. After his discharge from the military, he managed a drug store and later a coffee shop, but was not working at the time of his death due to illness.
Brantley had a true love for sports and music and loved to talk about both subjects. He will be truly missed by all that knew him.
He is survived by his mother, Carla Hunt Watters of Indianapolis, and by his friends, Thomas Kryzer and Alberto Luna, both of Dallas.
A memorial service was held earlier at the home of his friends, Kryzer and Luna, in Dallas.
