Suttlehan

Thomas "Tommy" Eugene Suttlehan, 58, of Denison, passed away at 5 a.m. on Dec. 25 at Good Samaritan in Denton.

He was a graduate of Denison High School and Grayson County College where he earned his license as a registered nurse. He was employed as a hospice nurse with American Hospice in McKinney.

Suttlehan also played flute and piccolo with the Oak Lawn band and he enjoyed bowling. He was a loving father and grandfather.

He is survived by three children, Jennifer Eads of Denton, Christine Frazier of Denison and Chris Suttlehan of Howe; three grandchildren, Kaitlyn Eads of Denton, Brendan Frazier of Denison and Emma Frazier of Denison; his sister, Elenor Via of Denison; his niece, Holli Adair of Aubrey; and two nephews, Tyler and William Via of Denison.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Jan. 24 at his daughter’s home in denton. To contact the family, e-mail jenneads@verizon.net.


Alejos

Larry Alejos, 57, died Dec. 27.

Alejos was born in Dallas on Dec. 29, 1950. He grew up in Dallas but spent a number of years living in Chicago working for elite restaurants, and in Atlanta working for a catering firm.

He returned to Dallas in 1998 and was most proud of working at the Melrose Hotel at Oak Lawn and Cedar Springs where his career was interrupted due to illness.

He always boasted of having worked at a five-star hotel.

Alejos loved family and meeting people. He loved to laugh and was always ready to entertain family and friends. He will be greatly missed and his death has created a huge hole in so many hearts.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Dale Edwin Gray; his mother, Angie O’Brien; his step-father, Lupe O’Brien; his brother, John Alejos Jr.; his brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Sylvia Alejos; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret and Carlos Tobias and Mary and Jesse Paredes; nine nieces, five nephews and numerous grand-nieces and -nephews.
