Roy Lee Jeffers, III, 32, died Sunday, Nov. 4, at his home in Dallas.

He was born Nov. 4, 1975, to Roy Lee Jeffers Jr. and Roxann West Jeffers, in Bastrop, La., and graduated from Downsville High School. At 14, he was offered a full scholarship to the Nacogdoches School of Science.

Jeffers loved science fiction, horror movies, hiking and camping.

He is survived by his husband, Tim Huggins of Dallas; his mother, Roxann Jeffers of Donalsonville, Ga.; his father, Roy Jeffers, and wife, Brenda of Brandon, Miss.; brothers, Billy Jeffers of Bastrop, La. and Daniel Jeffers and wife, Kelsey, of Donalsonville; grandmothers, Vivian West and Rosie Lee Jeffers; and nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Visitation was held Tuesday, Nov. 6, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3204 Fairmount Street, Dallas and the funeral service was held 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 7, in the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel.


Sean O�Con-nell, the �hair dresser to the stars,� will will be remembered by friends, coworkers and clients at a celebration of his life on Monday, Nov. 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. at saLon, 4215 Herschel St., Suite B, where O�Connell worked.

The event will include champagne, sweets (per O�Connell�s request), photos, stories, clients, quotes (such as O�Connell�s signature line, �Thank you. Thank you. I�m here all week and two shows on Thursdays�), and possibly a visit by Miss Bailey.
