Richard L. Dorsey, 57, died of cancer on Aug. 3 at Trinity Medical Center in Carrollton.
Dorsey had lived in the Dallas area for 35 years.
Born Aug. 29, 1939 in Greenfield, Iowa, he graduated from Greenfield High School in 1957. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was retired from Edward Don in Plano.
Dorsey was buried Aug. 11 in Greenfield.
Dorsey is survived by his partner of 33 years, Richard E. Banker of Dallas; and his brother, Phil Dorsey of Dallas.
