Claudiu “Claude” Borbely, 39, died suddenly on May 1, at R.H. Dedman Hospital.
Borbely was born Sept. 5, 1967 in Romania, and moved to the United States as a teenager. He was a longtime Irving resident, and an employee of Atrium for more than 10 years.
Borbely was a good friend to the North Texas community, and although he had no close living family members, he was surrounded by a caring family of friends and coworkers who loved him dearly.
This extended family would like to invite all who knew and loved Borbely and his gentle spirit and kindness to attend a memorial reception to be held Sunday, May 6, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Thompson Fine Arts, 2902 Maple Avenue in Dallas.

Kevin E. Rosene, 51, of Dallas, formerly of New Windsor, Ill., died April 27 at the Hope Care Center in Kansas City, Mo.
Rosene was born May 14, 1955 in Moline, Ill., to Earl and Margaret Willhouse Rosene. He graduated from Winola High School in 1973 and from Knox College in Galesburg, Ill.
Rosene was employed as a chemist in the painting industry, working at Valspar in Galesburg and later at Desoto in Dallas. His hobbies included playing tennis, gardening, cooking, painting and volunteering at the Art Gallery in Dallas. He especially loved his dog, Prince, and his cat, Piper Ann.
He is survived by his father, Earl Rosene of Galesburg; a sister, Kathy Swanson of Independence, Mo.; his aunt, Marilyn Zuidema of Alpha; and cousins, Cynthia Strachan, Carl Aniel, Pam Hedin and Karen Hambleton. His mother preceded him in death.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at the Peterson Wallin Knox Funeral Home in Alpha, Ill.. Burial will be in the Western Township Cemetery, Orion, Ill.
