Glenn Edward Davis, 55, died on Jan. 9, 2006, at Parkland Hospital of complications related to liver disease.

The Dallas native was a retired accountant. He had worked in the payroll department of Globe Security Company. He was a graduate of Sam Houston High School in Arlington and attended Dallas Baptist University. He served supper once every month for several years at Hillcrest House of AIDS Services of Dallas. A former Baptist, he was deacon at Trinity Presbyterian Church.
A memorial service was held on Friday at Trinity Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Julie Adkins officiated. A private burial service was held Jan. 12 at Grove Hill Cemetery.

He is survived by two brothers, Wayne Davis of Dallas and Dan Davis of Frisco, Texas, and an ex-partner, Rick Harper of Fort Worth. He is also survived by two loving schnauzers, Cybil and Charlotte.

Jenkins

Douglas Joe Jenkins, 75, died of heart failure Jan. 13 at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. He was a life-long resident of the Dallas area.

Jenkins is survived by his partner of more than 20 years, Lee Mitchell of Dallas; children, Bambi Jenkins of Baltimore, Md.; Jody Jenkins of Honolulu, Ha.; Kelly Jenkins of Washington, D.C., and Shelley Oram of Santa Fe, N.M.; his grandchildren, Justine Jenkins, Kulani Jenkins and Dallas Jenkins; and by his sister, Wilma Berry. He will be missed by his extended Mitchell family.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Cathedral of Hope, 5910 Cedar Springs Road in Dallas. The family asks that donations in his memory be made to the church
