Connie May Wibbens, 58, of Dallas died Dec. 31 at her home.
Wibbens was born in Milbank, S.D., the daughter of Robert and Irene (Hidahl) Wibbens. She graduated from Milbank High School in 1967. The day after her graduation, Connie moved to Minneapolis where she lived and worked as an accountant for about 10 years. She then moved to Dallas where she continued working as an accountant.
Wibbens is survived by her mother, Irene Wibbens of Milbank; one brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Karen Wibbens of Pierre, S.D.; one sister and brother-in-law, Vickie and Mike Schoenberg of Corona, S.D.; seven nieces and nephews, Brian and Amy Wibbens, Jesse and James Martinson, and Tabitha, Matthew and Stephen Schoenberg; several great-nieces and -nephews; other relatives, and friends.
A memorial service was held Jan 6 at Mundwiler Funeral Home in Milbank, with the Rev. Mark Phillips officiating. Burial followed in Milbank Cemetery.
