Dale H. Usternul, 67, died April 16 in Dallas following a 15-month battle with pancreatic cancer.

He was born Sept. 18, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio, to Hubert Herbert Usternul and Arlene Elizabeth McRae Usternul, and worked for American Airlines for more than 24 years.
He was preceded in death by his son, David R. Usternul.
Usternul is survived by his partner, Bill Bucher; one son; one daughter; five grandchildren, and numerous extended family and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held April 20 at Grove Hill Funeral Chapel, followed by burial in the Grove Hill Memorial Park cemetery. Condolences can be made at Grove-Hill.com.
