Bill Larkie

Bill Larkie, 55, died on July 8. He was born in Hawaii and moved a lot as a child because his father was in the military. He worked as a product support and implenebtation manager for Campbell Resources.

Larkie enjoyed many hobbies. Since 1997, he has been a member of Classic Chassis Car Club Dallas and owned numerous collector cars through the years. He also enjoyed being on the water and co-piloting a plane and flying with his friend Jens. He also took great pride remodeling his unique round house at Cedar Creek Lake and was a talented country dancer and roller skater. He had an adventurous spirit and took advantage of every opportunity to set out to see the wonders of the world.

Larkie taught by example. He was honest, loyal and lived his life with great integrity. His sense of humor and witty personality always brought a smile.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother and sister.

Donations in his memory may be made to Resource Center Dallas or the SPCA of Dallas.

Services are scheduled to celebrate his life at Resource Center Dallas on Aug. 11 at 3 p.m.
