Wings on Fox Sports
Earlier this year, the Wings announced a new agreement with Fox Sports Southwest that has all the team’s 2018 home games being broadcast live on Fox Sports Southwest throughout most of Texas and Oklahoma as well as parts of Arkansas and Louisiana. Games will be televised on either FOX Sports Southwest or FOX Sports Southwest Plus.
FOX Sports will televise 18 games, the most in Wings history, and 16 of those will be broadcast on Fox Sports Southwest Plus, with the other two on Fox Sports Southwest.
Every Wings telecast will be available on FOX Sports GO, the live streaming platform that showcases FOX Sports’ events and studio programming through pay-TV providers.
FOX Sports GO is available on FOXSportsGO.com or on the free FOX Sports GO app, which can be downloaded from iTunes, Google Play, Amazon App Store and Windows Store.
Streaming is also now available on several connected devices, including Apple TV, Android TV, FireTV and stick, Roku, Chromecast, Xbox One and YouTube TV.
The Wings have three pre-season games — vs. New York Liberty at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., on May 7; vs. the Connecticut Sun also at Mohegan Sun Arena, on May 8; and vs. Las Vegas Aces at College Park Center in Arlington on May 13.
The Wings’ first regular season game is May 18 against the Phoenix Sun at Talkiung Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix. Fox Sports’ regular-season coverage of the Wings begins with the first home game on Sunday, May 20, at 2 p.m. CT against the Atlanta Dream.
Coverage will include pre-game interviews and an in-depth look at the 2018 Wings roster.
Ron Thulin will return for his third season as play-by-play announcer and will be joined by TCU head coach Raegan Pebley, who is also in her third season as the primary analyst. Bob Steinfeld will serve as producer. This season marks his second season leading the broadcast.
