Frequent Voice freelancer Jenny Block just got some good news.
The finalists for the 21st annual Lambda Literary Awards were announced and Block’s 2008 book, “Open: Love, Sex and Life in an Open Marriage†(Seal Press, $24.95) made the cut for the “bisexual” category.
Block is up against “Sexual Fluidity: Understanding Women’s Love & Desire,” Lisa M. Diamond, (Harvard University Press); “The Bishop’s Daughter,” Honor Moore, (W.W. Norton), “Kinsey Zero Through Sixty: Bisexual Perspectives on Kinsey,” Ron Jackson Suresha, (Taylor & Francis Journals) and “Rimbaud,” Edmund White, (Atlas & Company).
Winners for all 22 categories will be announced in New York on May 28.
