Join the Impact held rallies around the country on Saturday to call on President-elect Obama to keep his campaign promise and push for repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act. Queer Liberaction held a similar protest here in Dallas that same day.
Well, I haven’t heard anything new from the president-elect’s office on DOMA in the last few days, but thanks to Rex Wockner, I did find this clip online in which the incoming White House press secretary, Robert Gibbs, gives a simple answer on Obama’s stance on the military’s anti-gay “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policy.
Will Obama work to repeal DADT? Yes, says Gibbs.
