reillymuleThe Moscow mule (so named because it’s made with vodka — vodka, Russia, Moscow … get it?) has become one of the most popular cocktails in recent years, so naturally enterprising mixologists have come up with variations on the theme, combining different liquors for new mules (and ones that don’t have to be served in a copper cup, I guess). One is from Reilly’s whiskey, which is one of the sponsors of the Touchdown Tailgate fundraiser for Cafe Momentum this Sunday.
2 oz. Reilly’s whiskey
1/4 oz. fresh lemon juice
1/4 oz. simple syrup
Ginger beer
Making it:
In a rocks glass (or a copper cup!) over ice, build ingredients, top with ginger beer to fill. Garnish with candied ginger and a lime wedge.
