New blog now live on Dallas Voice Web site
Dallas Voice has entered the blogosphere.
The newspaper recently launched "Instant Tea," a blog devoted to local LGBT life, as part of an overall upgrade of its Web site, www.dallasvoice.com.
The Web upgrade also includes streaming video of DVtv segments and links to video files from news and feature stories.
"We’re working very hard to advance our Web product, and a blog is a feature that readers have requested for quite some time," Dallas Voice Publisher Robert Moore said. "We’re glad to provide it."
The name "Instant Tea" was chosen based on the results of Dallas Voice Speak Out polls. The blog can be found at www.dallasvoice.com/instant-tea, or by going to the newspaper’s main page and clicking on the "Instant Tea" tab in the upper left-hand corner.
Moore said the blog offers a new way for the newspaper to connect with its readers. Readers can share their views by adding comments to blog posts.
Contributors to the blog will include senior editor Tammye Nash, Life+Style editor Daniel A. Kusner, Life+Style staff writer Arnold Wayne Jones, news editor David Webb and news staff writer John Wright.
