A woman described as a longtime member of the Dallas gay and lesbian community has been missing since June 4, and her friends suspect foul play.
Lisa Stone, 51, was last seen by neighbors near her home in the 3300 block of Truxillo Drive, her friends say. They suspect foul play because all of Stone’s personal belongings were left behind, including her purse and pets.
Dallas Voice received an e-mail from one of Stone’s friends, Carla Watts, earlier this week.
“We’re afraid that a wrong has been committed against her and we’re just wanting to find her and help her,” Watts wrote. “We have a profile page set up on Facebook with over 350 members, friends, colleagues. We’ve contacted the Dallas Police Department who have agreed to open a missing person’s file. We’re beginning to distribute fliers with Lisa’s photo.”
A spokesman for the Dallas Police Department couldn’t immediately be reached for comment Wednesday night. According to Watts, a story about Stone’s disappearance was set to air on WFAA Channel 8 at 10 p.m.

UPDATE: WFAA reported that Stone lived with her partner of 15 years. The TV station contacted Stone’s partner, but she refused comment. The WFAA report also said Dallas police have confirmed that some of Stone’s possessions, including a birth certificate, were found in a Dumpster near her home. Stone reportedly was scheduled to pick up a friend from the airport when she disappeared.

She refused to comment? Huh? her partner is missing and she doesn’t want media help? Highly suspicious. I smell something fishy.

” Stone reportedly was scheduled to pick up a friend from the airport when she disappeared.” This statement contradicts DMN’s report – they stated she disappeared on or around the 4th of June – and this scheduled pick up was supposedly on the 9th – not sure which is correct.

I have just seen the 48 Hours episode regarding the disappearance of Lisa Stone. Very sad, but also painfully apparent that Sherry is a lying pompous psychopath. No doubt in my mind she knows more than she is admitting to. Even worse is she thinks she is smarter than the authorities which unfortunately seems to be the case since no one has been brought to justice yet. We can only hope that one day the person responsible for this has to answer to it.
I’m pretty sure that Sherry killed her partner (at that time) Lisa Stone. Sherry’s mouth keept saying “No” in all the interviews, but her head couldn’t stop saying “YES”. I believed that Sherry’s love for Lisa wasn’t really there anymore, when she learned that Lisa inherited 300k, which is what make continued living with her (Lisa) and spend the money. Most probably Lisa somehow face Sherry rewarding purchases and expenses she wasn’t happy about. Sherry, spended the money, didn’t love Lisa and already had interest in someone else. So, Lisa was on her (Sherry’s) way to happyness.
First, Sherry said that she love Lisa, and that she hopes Lisa loved her hack.
Then She said that she didn’t issued a missing person report because Lisa wasn’t missing, but parting and getting high.
The she also said that she (Sherry) has the right to move on and free to date.
Sherry also said that Lisa was doing something, or where some when someone ask for Lisa’s whereabouts.
I’m really having problems with everything Sherry has said and done. It just contradictory, doesn’t make any sense.
Here is what I’m having hard time dealing with:
She love Lisa, but she didn’t make a missing police report (ever) even thought she didn’t saw the person (Lisa) she (Sherry) loves for many days?????.
2. If Lisa wasn’t missing, but parting (according to Sherry) why she didn’t try to help the person she “loves” to overcome her addictions, nor look for her if she didn’t know where Lisa was “parting”????.
Also, after how many days is logical to think that “parting” turned into “missing”????…… And yet, she (Sherry) still haven’t issued a Missing Person Police Reporte. I tought she said that she loves/ loved Lisa…but, that is not a usual behavior of love.
Also, what makes her think, that Lisa is not missing but parting?.
And, if you know that that Lisa is parting, why not telling, neighbors, and Lisa’s friends when they asked her. So, Sherry doesn’t file a police report, doestpartingisa’s friends and neighbors that she know where she is parting. If you know, that the person you live with is ” parting ” or whatever, why would you drop her personal belongings in the dumpster????. At less, you know as a fact that she (Lisa) will never come back………right??.
Sherry also said that she did not cheat on Lisa, and that Lisa knew about the other girl Sherry was seeing….. Even if that was true, knowing doesn’t mean agreeing, and Sherry didn’t say that Lisa was OK with that.
Is just soooo many things not right with Sherry, and by the way the police response as well.
Note: Does the police even know about this little thing call “micro-expressions”?, cause Sherry missed ALL of them MISERABLY!!!.

Sheri probably took the money, spent it, etc and didn’t want Lisa finding the truth out, as she had already committed forgery on $8000 from Lisa’s dad.
It is now 2018 and Lisa stone case is still unsolved. I feel if the person live had acted sooner they would have found the evidence they needed to charge Sherry—it is obvious she killed her partner.
I agree. Believe Sherry stole Lisa’s money and Lisa confronted her and killed her. Cop was probably right stating Lisa put in dumpster. As Sherry watches plenty of crime TV, she knew how to clean up and had plenty of time.

Why the hell hasn’t this Sherry been arrested yet? It’s now almost 15 years since Lisa has been missing and still nothing smdh!! Sherry did it that’s very obvious so come on Dallas Police ARREST THIS WOMEN!!!
2025. Sherri Henry has been involved in Dallas with trying to sue TWO DIFFERENT BUILDERS. BOTH CASES were tossed by the judges because the fees needed to proceed were not paid. People in this woman’s orbit need to be careful. She is a money hungry fraud. Already convicted of the 8K forgery she committed against Lisa’s father, the burning through Lisa’s 300k inheritance, and now, TWO DIFFERENT cases concerning home builders in Texas? As an aside, was Lisa so in love and so needing love that she was able to overlook the fraud? Was this in keeping with what Lisa learned about her inheritance that had been bled dry? How soon before Lisa’s disappearance and the conviction for the forgery against Lisa’s dad?
This case makes me sad. Thank goodness for her high school friends who pursued this case and did not give up.
I also believe NOTHING Sherri said. This is the third time I watched this episode. Each time I feel so angry and upset with the fact that nothing was done for so long.
Thank goodness her friends took pictures of the items belonging to Lisa in front of the dumpster. If Lisa were alive I daresay her birth certificate would not be disposed of in the dumpster.

Just watched an old 48 hours episode about this, her partner Sherry lied way too many times to be innocent. They should have offered her a polygraph if she’s so innocent she would have no problem taking one.
