DPD HQ
UPDATE:
Police are saying headquarters is not on lockdown. Police are focusing on the parking garage.
ORIGINAL POST:
Dallas police headquarters went on lockdown after threats were called in from a group that said they were driving in from Houston to harm Dallas officers.
Dallas SWAT has surrounded the building and media and people paying tribute to officers who were murdered have been moved away from the building.
According to another report, a masked man was seen running through the DPD parking garage. While that wouldn’t normally trigger a lock-down, but with what happened Thursday night, police are taking no chances.
In addition, a man was bowed down in front of the impromptu police memorial that has been set up in front of DPD headquarters as if praying, but was screaming at the top of his lungs, prompting police to stand guard near him.
