A few weeks ago, I blogged that chef Blythe Beck — recently of Hector’s on Henderson, currently rewriting the menu at Central 214 inside the Hotel Palomar — had closed the deal on her reality show, “The Naughty Kitchen,” to air on Oxygen.
Then Blythe asked me to pull it — it was a done deal, but not a DONE done deal.
Now it is a done done deal.
Photography on the series — now titled “The Naughty Kitchen with Chef Blythe Beck” — begins on May 11 and will continue for four months, with the series set to air in late fall. Anyone who knows the raspy-voiced cook knows she was made for racy TV (or racy food!). Congrats to her.
