Reportedly, the loudspeakers were cut at the Lincoln Memorial during Robinson’s prayer, so no one there could hear the gay bishop pray. The loudspeakers were not turned back on until Robinson said, “Amen.”
Why didn’t Bishop Robinson just say the prayer again, when the power came back on?
