Sexy ‘Peer Gynt’ opens TBT’s season
Speaking of bad boys …. ohhh, that Peer Gynt. A rascal, a womanizer and a well-traveled heel, for 150 years he has been one of theater’s most compelling antiheroes. So Sir Ben Stevenson’s version of the notorious but compelling character is an enticing start to Texas Ballet Theater’s 2012-13 season, which starts on Friday at Bass Hall in Fort Worth before moving to Dallas’ Music Hall next weekend.

Music sweetens Honey Pot’s Bear Fest
As the weather begins to turn colder, bears start to go into
hibernation, which is code for the Dallas Eagle on Sunday. The dance party Honey Pot hosts its Bear Fest this weekend with music from DJ Matt Effect and electro-pop musician Blue Redder, pictured, and acoustic guitarist Joseph Veazie  adding a live touch. There will be a bear vendor market
selling everything from jewelry to art from Daniel Padilla.
A portion of the proceeds benefit Resource Center Dallas.
