Avenue Q returns to T3
After opening last summer, the local production of the uber-gay puppet musical Avenue Q became a (Kate) Monster hit, extended four times before closing before Christmas. But not all good things must come to an end. Theatre 3 has revived the show, with much of the same creative team in place, for an open-ended run at their downstairs Theatre Too space. It’s tremendous fun, but trust us — leave the kiddies at home. And grandma, too.

DEETS: Theatre 3, 2900 Routh St. in the Quadrandgle. Now playing. Theatre3Dallas.com.

Dick’s Night Out gets a room with a view, moving to the W’s Ghostbar
Dick’s Night Out has been a hip gay happy hour since it debuted last year, but the outdoor locale down on Ross Avenue presented weather problems. That won’t be the case on the 33rd floor, inside the W Hotel in Victory Park. The spacious club once known as Ghostbar is the site for this month’s incarnation of the mixer, which features $5 cocktails, $5 valet (and two hours of complimentary self-parking), service from the hunky bartenders at Bar10 and music from DJ Charlie Phresh.

DEETS: W Victory Hotel, 2440 Victory Park Lane, 33rd floor. 6–10 p.m. Free, but RSVP required at DNo33.eventbrite.com.
