It’s only been a few weeks since the 14th season of the hit competition show So You Think You Can Dance crowned its winner, but already all of the top 10 finalists from this season — plus some all-stars from past seasons — are on the road with a traveling version of what made them all shine on TV. Tony winner Brian Stokes Mitchell headlines DSM gala
Last week, we ran a story about the event chairs for this year’s Dallas Summer Musicals gala fundraiser. They were confronted with finding a suitable entertainer to replace Bernadette Peters when she had to bow out. Well, how about Tony winner Brian Stokes Mitchell? And add American Idol finalist Katharine McPhee? Not too shabby, and their performances cap off an optional black-tie-optional dinner and cocktail party. Even Bernadette will be sad she missed it.
