Star Michaels — alter ego of Legacy Cares board member Chaselyn Wade Vance — hosts Divas at Dusk, a special Halloween-themed drag event featuring special guest MayMay Graves along with Gloria Devine, Bleach, Kandy Aisle, Kylee O’Hara, Dallas Sheraton, G Licious G, Raquel Blake, Serif, Jada Pinkett Fox and Kiana Raye. All of the performers’ tips go to Legacy Cares, as does 10 percent of all food sales and 25 percent of all sales of Vampire Queen cocktails, which are available for $5. You can also get alcoholic snow cones for $5 and other frozen drinks for $6. A magical show
Dallas Summer Musicals present the magic and mayhem of Penn & Teller, the edgy, provocative and hilarious duo who have been captivating live audiences since 1975 with their unique brand of comedy and magic combined. Seen them before? No worries: This show combines their years of stage experience with some creative and innovative twists mixed in to keep fans new and old entertained. Get Horrors-fied
The weather has been perfect for outdoor theater, and Theatre Three’s production of Little Shop of Horrors, now playing at the Samuell-Grand Amphitheater, takes full advantage of that. Starring Alejandro Saucedo as Seymour, Lee Walter as Audrey, Bob reed as Mr. Mushnik, Parker Gray as Orin the dentist and Rodney M. Morris as Audrey II, the show offers a bright and colorful set and stellar performances in telling the now-familiar tale of a man in love and a blood-thirsty plant. A taste of Horror
