The Women’s Chorus of Dallas, pictured here during a December 2021 concert, joins with singers from Dallas Independent School District and Texas Women’s University to present Voices of Women 2022, Saturday, March 26, at 4 p.m. in the Jonsson Central Library, 1515 Young Street. The concert will feature three women conductors and the world premiere performance of a piece by Rosephanye Powell, noted composer and an expert in the African-American spiritual tradition. Texas Bear Round-Up returns this weekend, after two years of pandemic postponements, with activities planned all weekend long. Start the party tonight with BearDance: MasqueRave Friday night, March 25, from 8 p.m.-4 a.m. at S4, 3911 Cedar Springs Road. Tickets start at $30 and are available at the door. Miz Cracker is the entertainment headliner for the weekend, performing Saturday, March 26, at 8 p.m. at the TBRU host hotel, Hyatt Regency Dallas, 300 Reunion Blvd. East.
