The Austin Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce recently unveiled its redesigned logo and website to coincide with the organization’s 2006 membership drive.
Chamber member Jonn Cherico, a graphic designer, created the website’s new design and directory, as well as the new logo intended to represent the chamber’s broad vision, said Troy Hanna, chamber president.
This is the website’s first major redesign since the chamber was chartered in 1997.
New features include online membership capabilities, an Austin GLBT community calendar, a searchable database of members, an online payment and RSVP option for chamber events and access for members to update their listings.
Hanna said the redesigned website adds incentive for new members to join the chamber, which also offers member increased exposure through its directory, networking opportunities and chamber events with discounted rates for members.
Information is available at the website, wwww.aglcc.org.
