Groundbreaking ceremony on March 30

Audi Dallas on Lemmon Avenue just west of the Dallas North Tollway broke ground on a new state-of-the-art facility on Friday, March 30. The dealership’s sales floor and service area are both expanding to twice its current size and will be branded as Audi Dallas 2.0.
“We are thrilled to unveil the future of high-performance luxury car buying,” said General Manager Randy Rogers. “For over a decade we’ve refined the dealership experience to give our customers the very best service, selection, and buying process. The evolution to Audi Dallas 2.0 just expands that capability to a level that is unmatched in Dallas.”
During construction, Audi Dallas announced several amenities to make buying and servicing effortless during construction. These include improved online scheduling, complimentary loaner vehicles for service, test drive delivery to the customer, free no-tip valet parking at the dealership, and Uber reimbursement for customers traveling to and from the dealership.
Audi Dallas is launching the website www.audidallasconstruction.com to keeps customers abreast of the current construction status and any traffic, parking, entrance changes throughout the construction process.
Continuing to operate at the same location, management has divided the construction into two phases so they can serve their customers effectively throughout the build.
“This very well may be the best time to buy from us because we’re really rolling out conveniences and savings to make buying or servicing effortless throughout construction,” Rogers said.
According to the project’s architecture firm, Spring Engineering:

Audi’s new ‘terminal’ dealership in Dallas combines the efficiency, performance, luxury, and technology themes that the brand has become known for in its vehicles.

Like Audi’s vehicles, the new Audi terminal dealerships are crafted with efficiency in mind. The interior is sporty, sleek and progressive. A curving wall is a dominant feature, delivering the dynamic feel of a sloped speedway race track inside the showroom which Audi vehicles are so adept at handling. The interior is built for comfort, speed and movement. Luxury is evident in every detail of the design from the crisp white walls to the rich texture of the dark floors.

The exterior facade incorporates the use of three-dimensional aluminum links which were inspired to reflect Audi’s silver color palette and the lightweight metal that Audi uses to create unique weight-saving body frames.

Construction is currently scheduled for completion late fourth quarter of 2018.
