AIDS Services Dallas cut the ribbon to open its new office at 201 S. Tyler Street in Oak Cliff. For the past 17 years, the housing non-profit has been headquartered in Oak Cliff Tower.

ASD provides affordable housing for people living with HIV.

The new building was purchased and will save the organization the cost of rent in the future. And the building doubles the amount of office space. For the first time, the agency will be able to host intakes away from the housing properties.

CEO Traswell Livingston said housing helps people get back to health and ASD provides stable, affordable housing.

He said it was nice to be in the community and hopes to partner with the community more than ever.
