San Francisco Chronicle is reporting, via Twitter, that police have begun arresting protesters who refused to clear the streets following this morning’s Supreme Court ruling on Prop 8. Supposedly, the cops — all or most of whom are LGBT — and the protesters had negotiated an agreement to start the arrests around noon, PST, so that they could make the TV news broadcasts.
The 1Struggle1Fight Twitter feed says that the first person arrested as an Episcopal priest. The Chronicle reports that a male couple who had been standing in the street, very calmly kissing one another since the ruling was announced more than two hours ago, were arrested, as Rabbi Mintz.
The latest Chronicle tweet: “Still hundreds blocking intersection. This will take a while.”цены на раскрутку
