We have known for some time that Annise Parker is running for mayor of Houston. She is considered the frontrunner, and if she wins, she would be the first openly LGBT mayor of one of the country’s top 10 largest cities. (Houston is the 4th largest city in the country.)
But even though we have known it for some time now, Parker will make her official announcement tomorrow (Thursday), at 11:45 a.m., with a rally in front of the Houston City Hall.
