I just read this story on OutSports.com, about a (straight) nationally-ranked college wrestler who is an open, vocal and unabashed supporter of gay rights. It warms the heart to read this (and he’s kinda nice to look as, as you can see). A story like this, to me, begs a question: If a 23-year-old straight athlete can take this position, why can’t our leaders?
i luv me a good fag stag. the vpl is poppin’ as well
any truth to the rumor he refuses to wear a jock strap until a gay marriage bill is passed in all 50 states? apparently so …
In particular, why can’t our military leaders?
Their troops are age 18 and up, they run or walk or swim miles, they wear enough armor to weigh down a buffalo, they carry heavy arms, and they shoot people.
Yet their leaders are afraid they might be traumatized by a teasing comment, a proposition, or a kiss between two other same-sex troops?
That is absurd.
