Yesterday John Wright clued you in to reports about Sen. John McCain’s fondness for ABBA songs.
Now Towelroad.com posts this bit on the fact that the man who founded the gay sex and hookup Web site Manhunt.com has donated the maximum amount to McCain’s presidential campaign.
The Huffington Post reported on Jonathan Crutchley’s donation to McCain, and then last week Crutchley defended his politics by responding to a post in the comments section of an article about him at Online Personals Watch.
The poster said he was disappointed to find out that Crutchley was a “liberal Republican” who had given McCain money. Crutchely responded, in part: “I believe McCain will be a better commander-in-chief than Obama, who also opposes gay marriage. If we have an experienced, seasoned person defending the country in this dangerous age, we will be able to argue about the gay agenda later.”
Crutchley admitted to being a “Massachusetts Republican, which is about the same as an Alabama Democrat,” but he warned the poster not to call him a liberal, because “that’s an insult.”
