“Project Runway” may be the gayest show on TV, but not since Season 1 has a gay man won in the finale — until last night. Christian Siriano, the “fierce” (his favorite adjective) 21-year-old, proved to be flamboyant, bitchy, dramatic … and a decidedly accomplished creator of haute fashion.Could any normal person other than a drag queen every wear his creations while shopping at Albertson’s. Certainly not. And he got a run for his money from second-place finisher Rami, another gay man who never saw a Greek goddess he didn’t want to layer in chiffon. (Straight girl Jillian made the most wearable clothes, which is suicide on the runway.) We liked Christian. Ego aside, he made for fascinating TV and has mad skills. He’s destined to take his place along side previous “Project Runway” winners…. um… who won again last year?

I was pulling for Christian ever since he got checked in the third episode. Ever since then he was everyone’s strongest competitor and BAM! he’s the winner. Best moment was his quivering lip. Sweet. And thankfully for him, Victoria Beckham was the judge. Two of a kind!
Who won last year? Jeffrey Sebeda.
I was hoping Chris Marsh would have won-he’s a great designer, took some incredible chances, and was the most fun to watch. Christian’s a great designer, but I can’t help thinking that he’s not ready for this yet. I think the main reason he won was because he was the most out there character this season, and Bravo wanted that.
Whaat? Heck no. He won because he knows that fashion is a type of art and he put it out there beyond any of the others. Chris could have made the final three more interesting than Rami but he wouldn’t have won. His final few pieces were well done and executed but the hair made for a creepy overtone. How much human hair on clothes do you see on the red carpet at the Oscars?
Christian is the fiercest of the fierce! He got on my nerves at first, but eventually even I was converted to Christianity (zing!). I didn’t care for his final collection that much, but he desperately needed a new apartment (hello, folding up his bed?!), so he deserved that money. Fierce!
O M G!!! Give me a fabric, give me fierce; what’s that spell? I can’t believe it…Christian you are an amazing guy. I have to say I’m sorry, because I thought for once you were a girl. I am such a….but one thing I wasn’t wrong is about you winning. I knew you were gonna win, right from the first time I saw you. I saw the fierce in your eyes, the spark in your fabric, and the way your women enchanted the run way. You had it all on top of things. You deserve the money and the glory!!!
