Isn’t that more like West Village not Oak Lawn? Â Just nit pickin.
Carl,
Before the developers renamed every little block, Oak Lawn stretched from Central to Love Field.
West Village & Uptown are actually Oak Lawn. Newbies just changed name so as not to be thought of as Gay area. Just thought you might like to know.
@David and Jesse, yes I know that is really part of Oak Lawn before they started giving names to all the little neighborhoods. Â I was just being silly. Â I think most people now think of Oak Lawn as between, Hudnall and Turtle Creek and Maple and Oak Lawn where it swings into Highland Park. Â But some of us old times, still remember when the whole area was Oak Lawn. Â Like I said, was just being silly.
