I find it very interesting that the women in the lives of conservative leaders have come out in favor of equality. Cindy McCain and daughter, Barbara Bush, Jr., Laura Bush, etc. I wish I could be a fly on the wall during their family discussion on this issue. Something tells me that none of them object to equality, but rather, for political reasons the men (and officeholders) used the issue for the right winged constituents. And, if you don’t buy that, at least we can all agree on one thing… as generations turn over, even the conservative ones, equality is something that WILL be achieved.
