For three days this December, Texas will become the destination for anime fans from across the country.
Anime Frontier is one of the largest anime conventions in the Southwest. The event returns to the Fort Worth Convention Center from Dec. 4-6, 2026. Fans will connect with anime luminaries from the U.S. and Japan for premieres, exclusive reveals and a first look at certain projects ahead of release in the anime and manga worlds.
“Today’s anime fans aren’t just watching. They’re reading manga, collecting merchandise, and building communities around the stories they love. That energy is what’s driving anime’s remarkable growth, especially here in Texas, and it’s exactly what Anime Frontier celebrates,” MK Goodwin, Anime Frontier Event Director said in today’s convention announcement. “This year, with [actor] Mackenyu’s first-ever Texas appearance, an official Demon Slayer panel from Aniplex, the full cast of Critical Role, and a special Club Ironmouse concert, we’re giving Texas fans a show that matches their passion.”
This year’s show will feature the Ironmouse concert, Club Ironmouse, the Tranquili-TEA Lounge and more.
Anime Frontier Jr. has partnered with Fort Worth Public Library and the Japan Society of Dallas-Fort Worth to make sure anime and manga lovers at every age are entertained.
